“Overall this was a great little place. Not quite 5 star worthy but very close Pros: -amazing view of the water -comfy couch and living room -great view from the hot tub -comfortable bed in the master bedroom -has all the amenities you need Cons: -carpet had visible stains -doors were warped on the back patio, so didn't seal all the way and would allow bugs in -hot tub struggled to stay above 100 degrees after being open for a while. It was only 60 degrees out so not at all cold. Max temp on the hot tub was 104 to set it to, so it was a bit like a bath rather than a hot tub -very noisy traffic in the front of the house, major roadway and loud cars/semis. Owner can't control that but it wasn't quite as serene as one would hope. Overall I would come back for sure. Very short drive to Emerald Isle and amazing views of the sunrise to wake up to.”

“Best stay ever! Cozy and welcoming! Positive: Cozy place, beautiful water, relaxing atmosphere. They thought of everything you could want inside and out. Negative: The busy road out front but honestly, we sat in the back 90% of the time and hardly noticed the traffic. Unfortunately, we chose the week that they repaved the road and they did it thru the night so we didn't get much sleep for 2 nights but that was a complete fluke and just unfortunate timing on our part.”
